Passage of Time
The past few weeks have been full of strife.
I am getting older and the passage of time is painful. Unfulfilled dreams, unreached goals glare at me. They point out my failures and my flaws. I always thought I was destined to be more, just follow my heart and the rest will follow. But nothing did. Well, somethings did….but then they were pulled out from under me or taken away. As if someone said,”Whoops! My mistake. This is not meant for YOU!”
Life has become uncomfortable and tight. I try hard to find joy in things, but when I smile it hurts and is only a facade.
The Passage of Time is painful.
